What we will be learning this week:
Math: This week in math we will learn to be able to find area of shapes by counting squares and learn to be able to find perimeter of rectilinear shapes.
Literacy: This week in Literacy we will learn how to edit and revise another student's writing through questioning. We will also learn about different homonyms through grammar practice.
IPC: This week in IPC we will learn what characteristics make a good business owner. We will think about these while beginning to design our own businesses in small groups.
Spelling: This week in spelling we will revisit how to spell some of the most common misused homonyms. Three practice assignments have been set. Once you login, you will see a green and blue box that says "Assignments Due". This week they are "Sentence Writing Practice" and "Which Word? Definitions" and "Practice Vocabulary Test".

- Grammar challenge: Find 3 sets of homonyms. (For example, there, their, and they're would be 1 set.) Write a sentence using each one. Bring your sentences to class to teach everyone about your homonyms. If you're taking on the challenge, please do not use the spelling words.
