What we will be learning this week:
Math: This week in math we will learn to be able to place numbers with decimals on a number line, to be able to multiply and divide 2- and 3- digit numbers by 10 and 100 to get tenths and hundredths in decimal form, and to be able to find equivalent tenths and hundredths.
Literacy: This week in Literacy we will learn how to read for information in explanation texts. We will then use these reading strategies in order to measure our comprehension about our reading.
IPC: This week in IPC we will learn the process of making a business. We will start by brainstorming ideas, choosing the best one, and then writing a business proposal! We will then learn how to design and conduct a survey to measure interest in our business.
Spelling: This week in spelling we will learn which words are spelt with 'ie' and which words are spelt with 'ei'. Two practice assignments have been set. Once you login, you will see a green and blue box that says "Assignments Due". This week they are "Sentence Writing Practice" and "Speedy Speller."

Highlights of Fox Learning:
This week in PSHE, we learned how to turn an "aggressive" response into an "assertive" response. The three steps to follow are easy. Here they are:
1. Tell how you feel. (Example: I feel upset.)
2. Tell why you feel this way. (Example: I feel upset because I felt left out at recess today when I was told I couldn't play with you.)
3. Tell what can be done to solve the problem. (Next time, can you ask me if I want to play instead of telling me I can't. I think that would make everyone happier.)
See if you can turn these aggressive statements into assertive statements:
1. Why do you always take my things? I'm telling.
2. Ugh, I have worked with you all week.
